M.Sc Nursing at Tata Memorial Centre: Apply by May 3
Tata Memorial Centre, a Grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, Tata Memorial Hopital, Parel, Mumbai-400012, has invited applications for admission to the M.Sc Nursing Course offered by the Centre.
For the 10 seats available for M. Sc. Nursing Course, only Indian Nationals can apply. Applicant should hold a B. Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from IGNOU / Any Recognized University with minimum 55% aggregate marks and should be registered with State Nursing Council. Applicant should have 1 year experience in a Hospital / Nursing Institution / Community Health setting.
Selection will be based on the M. Sc. Nursing Common Entrance Test (CET)-2019. The CET Brochure and other details can be downloaded from the Advertisement link at https://tmc.gov.in/m_events/Events/JobVacancies.
Applications can be submitted online at https://tmc.gov.in/m_nursing latest by 5.30 pm on 3.5.2019. Applicants have to pay the Online Registration Fees of Rs.2000/‑ by using Debit Card/Credit Card only. Female/SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from paying of fees while submitting application. After submission of the online application, applicant should print the application form on one side of the paper only. The completed and signed application form with all necessary enclosures should reach ‘Office of the Director, Academics, Homi Bhabha Block Building, 13th floor, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai-400 012’ by Registered/Speed Post latest by 10th May 2019. The envelope containing the application should be superscripted ‘Application for M.Sc. Nursing Course’.
The CET of 100 minutes duration will have Multiple Choice Questions from Oncology Nursing (30 marks), General Nursing (20), General English (15), Maths (15) & General knowledge (20). This will be followed by Group discussion carrying 30 marks to be completed in 30 minutes. Candidates who are amongst the top three times the number of seats available (minimum 50% marks) in the MCQ & Group discussion will be called for the Viva carrying 20 marks. Final merit list will be based on the total scores obtained in CET, Group discussion and Viva.
