Postgraduate institute of Medical education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has invited applications for admission to the M.Sc./M.Sc MLT courses, January 2020 session.
Master of Science/Master courses are offered in (i) Pharmacology (ii) Respiratory Care (iii) Anaesthesia and (iv) Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (Master).
M.Sc MLT Courses (for Sponsored/deputed candidates only) are offered in Cytopathology, Immunopathology, Biochemistry, Bacteriology & Mycology, Virology, Biotechnology, Histopathology, Haematology, Parasitology and Pharmacology. M.Sc. Medical Technology courses are available in Radiotherapy and Radiodiagnosis.

Selection: Selection to the Programmes will be based on a Computer Based Entrance Test to be held at 9 am on 10.12.2019 (Sunday) at Chandigarh only. Duration shall be 90 minutes for the test for M.Sc (Pharmacology) course and 60 minutes for other M.Sc./M.Sc. MLT courses. Details related to the structure of the Test are given in the Prospectus.
Application: Applications can be submitted latest by 24 November 2019, through the Notification link available at the ‘Information for Candidates’ link at http://pgimer.edu.in/
Application and examination fee for SC/ST Category will be Rs. 1200/- and that for General /OBC/Sponsored Category, Rs. 1500/-. Persons with Bench-mark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from payment of fee. The fee can be paid online through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.
Result of the entrance test is expected to be declared at 3 pm on 16 December 2019.
For the Master of Science courses, applicants of the Open (General) and Sponsored/Deputed categories need to score 50 percentage marks while those of OBC, SC/ST categories, 45 percentage to qualify in the entrance test. For M.Sc. MLT courses, sponsored/Deputed applicants need 50 percentage marks to qualify.
Counselling will be at 11 am on 23 December 2019.
