Admissions in 4 streams: Applications have been invited for admissions to 4 streams, namely, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture and Medical & Allied courses. A person can apply for admission to one of the streams or multiple streams, subject to his/her eligibility. However, only one applications should be submitted by an applicant irrespective of the number of courses being applied. The applicant will have to select the streams to which he/she should be considered for admissions while applying.
Courses: The courses under different streams are the following: Engineering Courses: B.Tech [including B.Tech (Agri. Engg) & B.Tech (Food Engg.&Tech) courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) & B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, B.Tech. (Food Technology) course under the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies]; Pharmacy Course: B.Pharm. Pharmacy Course: B.Pharm; Architecture Course: B.Arch; Medical Courses: (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS(Homoeo) (iv) BAMS(Ayurveda) (v) BSMS (Siddha) (vi) BUMS (Unani); Allied Courses: (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry (iii) Veterinary (BVSc. & AH) (iv) Fisheries (BFSc.)
Entrance by CEE only in 2 streams: Although applications have been invited for admission to 4 streams, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will be conducting the entrance examinations for only for Engineering and Pharmacy streams. The Entrance Examinations for admission to B.Pharm is the same as Paper 1 (Physics & Mathematics) of the Engineering Entrance Examination, which has two papers, the second being Mathematics. However, one will not be considered for B.Pharm admission just because he/she has applied for Engineering Entrance Examination and appears for Paper I of Engineering Entrance Examination. The applicant will have to select the Pharmacy stream when applying, attend Paper I of the Engineering stream and also qualify to be considered for Pharmacy allotment.
Admission to Medical and Allied courses is based on the rank in National Eligibility cum entrance Test (NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
The admission to B Arch course will be based on the score in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) and the marks in Plus 2 examination. However, those interested in admissions to Medical and Allied stream as well as the Architecture stream, to be conducted by CEE, should apply to CEE as per this Notification.
Application: Application has to be submitted latest by 28.2.2019 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in and the same has to be completed in 5 steps (i) Registration (ii) Filling Application (iii) Paying Application Fee (iv) Uploading Images and Certificates and (v) Printing Confirmation Page. Confirmation page is not required to be sent to the office of the CEE.
Application Fee for applying for Engineering only/ B.Pharm only/both (A) is Rs.700/- for General category and Rs.300/- for SC Category. To apply for Architecture only/Medical & Allied only/both (B) for these two categories will be Rs.500/- and Rs.200/- respectively. Those desirous of applying for both the Groups (Engineering only/ B.Pharm only/both and Architecture only/Medical & Allied only/both) have to pay Rs.900/- and Rs.400/- respectively. ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Candidates choosing 'Dubai' as Examination Centre will have to remit an additional fee of Rs.12,000/- by way of online payment.
The Application fee can be paid online by Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top turned green. Application Fee can also be paid using e-Challan using the printout of e-Challan by using the link ‘Print e-Challan’ and making the payment by cash at all Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala state and Lakshadweep, list of which are available in the website.
Last date: Online submission of application has to be completed by 5 pm on 28.2.2019. Certificates and other supporting documents should be uploaded to the online application. The proof for nativity and date of birth are mandatory and the same should be uploaded before 28.02.2019. The last date for uploading Certificates and other supporting documents will be 31.3.2019.
