Entrance test for MBA at Indian Maritime University on Jan 4: Apply by December 10
Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Semmencherry, Sholinganallur (P.O), Chennai - 600 119, has notified the Online Common Entrance Test (CET) January 2020 for admission to the MBA in Port and Shipping Management and MBA International Transportation and Logistics Programmes of IMU for the Academic Year, 2020-21.
The Programmes and Campus where offered are as follows: MBA - International Transportation & Logistics Management (2 Years) is offered at Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Kochin. MBA – Port & Shipping Management (2 Years) is offered at Cochin and Chennai.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Applicant should also have scored a minimum of 50% marks in English in 10th/12th/UG Degree. SC/ST applicants will get a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks. However, this relaxation will not apply to English marks.
Admissions to the Programmes will be through an All-India Online Common Entrance Test (CET) to be held from 11 a.m to 2 p.m on 4th January 2020 (Saturday), at Bangalore, Guwahati, Lucknow, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, New Delhi, Kochi, Kolkata and Patna. The Test will have 120 multiple choice questions from Quantitative ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal ability and Logical reasoning. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
Registration Fee is Rs. 1000 for General/OBC-NCL candidates and Rs. 700 for SC/ST Candidates.
Basic Registration with Online Payment of Application Fee has to be completed at https://www.imu.edu.in/, by 11.59 pm on 10 December 2019.
Detailed applications can be submitted online latest by 11.59 pm on 13 December 2019.
Hall Ticket can be downloaded from 20 December 2019. Results will be published on 10 January 2020.
