The Institute of Rail Transport (IRT), Room No.104, North Central Railway Project Unit, Shivaji Bridge, Behind Shankar Market, Near I.R.W.O. Office, New Delhi -110001, has invited applications for one-year diploma courses by correspondence, recognised by Ministry of Railways.
The Programmes are (i) Transport Economics & Management (ii) Multi-Modal Transport (Containerisation) & Logistics Management and (iii) Rail Transport & Management
Fee for each course is Rs. 7,000/- (Including Study Material & Contact Classes).
Eligibility: Applicants should be Graduates or Three Years Diploma holders in any Discipline from any recognized University/Institute/State Govt.
Central/State Govt. employees/Armed Service Personnel (Serving & Retired), with three year working experience, need to have completed Sr. Sec. School.
Examination Centres: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Secunderabad, Lucknow, Guwahati and Bhubaneswar, subject to sufficient number of students appearing in any centre.
Application can be submitted online at www.irt.indianrailways.gov.in. Registration Fee Rs.150/- can be done through Debit Card, Net banking, Credit Card etc. The facility for downloading Prospectus will be made available afire Registration.
Prospectus can be obtained from the Institute on payment of 200/- including postal charges by Demand Draft in favour of Institute of Rail Transport, payable at New Delhi. Applicant should write full name and address in capital on the reverse of the draft along with the name of the course to which admission is sougnt.
