BSc Nursing, B.Sc., M.Sc. Programs at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences
Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh- 226014 has invited applications for admission to the BSc Nursing (4-year degree course), B.Sc. and M.Sc. Programs for the academic year 2021-22.
Applicants should be unmarried Indian nationals. Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for reserved category candidates. Applicant should be between 17 and 24 years of age on December 31, 2021.
Selection will be based on an entrance exam to be conducted on 26th December 2021. The Computer based online Entrance Examination will have one paper of 2 hours’ duration and consisting of five parts containing 20 objective type multiple choice questions from each of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge and English. The general standards of each entrance examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 scheme or an equivalent examination of an Indian Board/University. No syllabus for entrance examination has been prescribed by the Institute. Unreserved candidates have to score 50% marks and SC/ST and OBC candidates, 45% marks.
There are 40 seats for the course. Reservation will be as per rules. Candidates domiciled outside UP will be treated as General Category.

Admissions to various B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses will be made through an All India entrance examination to be held on 26th December 2021.
For admission to B.Sc. course there will be one paper of two hours’ duration having objective type multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics (20 questions from each), General Knowledge and English (10 each).
For M.SC Programs, there will be one paper of two hours’ duration consisting of 100 multiple choice questions. The general standard of entrance examination will be that of B.Sc. or equivalent examination of an Indian University. No specific syllabus for entrance examination has been prescribed by the Institute.
Candidates are required to obtain minimum 50th Percentile in entrance examination to qualify for admission to the B.Sc/M.Sc courses.
