Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), a Deemed-to-be-University, D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, has invited applications for the Entrance Examination for admission to the Ph.D/ Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC)/ Post-Graduation Certificate Course (PGCC)/ Certificate Courses and Fellowship Programmes of the Institute for the academic session starting on 1st January 2021.
Ph.D Programmes are offered in (i) Molecular and Cellular Medicine and (ii) Hepatology.
Applicant should have a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Zoology or Microbiology) or a Professional degree (MBBS, Master Degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, M.Tech. M.Pharma M.V.Sc or other degrees) declared equivalent to Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory body. Applicant should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade as per UGC rules. NET qualified candidates (with independent fellowship) will be directly called for interview.
Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC) is offered in Organ Transplant Anaesthesia; Interventional Radiology; Hepatopathology; Pediatric Hepatology; Nephrology; Hepatic and Transplant Virology; Critical Care Medicine; GI Medical Oncology; HPB and GI Advanced Radiation Oncology; Gastro Radiology; Blood Banking & Immunohaematology; Advanced Diagnostic and Clinical Microbiology; Apheresis Technology and Blood Component Therapy; Cellular Transplant Immunology; Advanced Clinical Biochemistry; Hepato-Hematology
Post-Graduation Certificate Course (PGCC) is offered in Nutrition; Epidemiology of Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease; Clinical Research in Liver Diseases.
The other Programmes are (i) Fellowship in Advanced Hepatology (ii) Certificate course in Nephrology (iii) Certification Coursein Critical Care

Duration of the Courses: PDCC , PGCC & fellowship- one year duration, Certificate courses- 6 months duration, Ph.D: 3 to 5 years duration.

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of all India entrance test. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts on 20 December 2020 (Sunday). Departmental Assessment will be on 21 December 2020 (Monday).
