Kochi: Applications are invited by ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION, Haji Ali Park, K. Khadye Marg, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai - 400 034 from candidates for admission to the following courses for the academic year 2016-17.
Courses & Eligibility:
1. Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics
 Candidates who have passed 10+2 std or appearing for HSC/ (10+2) Std. examination or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Mathematics with minimum 40% marks
 The candidate must be born on or before 31.12.1999.
 Entrance Test- 2016, conducted by this Institute on 24.7.2016.
 The candidate must be an Indian National.
2. Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics
 Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P &O) from an Institute/ College recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India with compulsory completion of Internship of 6 months if prescribed in the course.
 Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.7.2016
 Certificate of registration with Rehabilitation Council of India. New Delhi.
 Entrance Test -2016, conducted by this Institute on 24.7.2016.
 The candidate must be an Indian National.
 Candidates who have obtained B.P.O. degree from distance learning mode will not be eligible.
3. Master of Physiotherapy
4. Fellowship Course in Rehabilitation Physiotherapy
 The course is open for Physiotherapists holding Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University other than Distance Education and Agricultural University with completion of Six months compulsory Internship.
 Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.8.2016
 Certificate of registration with Maharashtra State Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Council. Mumbai
 Entrance Test- 2016, conducted by this Institute on 24.7.2016.
 The candidate must be an Indian National.
5. Master of Occupational Therapy
6. Fellowship Course in Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy
 The course is open for Occupational Therapists holding Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University other than Distance Education and Agricultural University with completion of Six months compulsory Internship.
 Date of completion of Internship – On or before 31.8.2016
 Certificate of registration with Maharashtra State Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Council.
 Entrance Test- 2016, conducted by this Institute on 24.7.2016.
 The candidate must be an Indian National.
Application forms & prospectus:
i) Can be downloaded from website www.aiipmr.gov.in. Duly filled in application form can be forwarded to this Institute along with ‘Processing fees and application form /Prospectus fee.’
ii) If required by speed post; candidate should send ‘Application form /Prospectus fee’ and self addressed envelope of size 30cms. X 25 cms. (A4 size) fixing postage stamp of Rs. 80/- Superscribed as ‘Application for (Write Name of the course) course 2015’.
B) Examination fee for each course: -
i) Rs. 650/- (which includes Processing fee Rs. 500/- + Application form/ Prospectus fee Rs. 150/-)
ii) For SC/ST Candidates fee is relaxed to Rs. 550/- (which includes processing fee Rs. 400/- + Application Form/ Prospectus Fee Rs. 150/-)
iii) Payment will be accepted in the form of Demand Draft only from Nationalised Bank to be Drawn in favour of ‘Director, AIIPMR’ Payable at Mumbai
