Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001 has invited applications for admission to MDS Courses for the year 2022 to the State Quota seats in Government Dental Colleges in Kerala and to all the seats available in the Self-Financing Dental colleges in Kerala.
Eligibility for Admission: (a) Academic: Applicant should possess a recognised BDS degree/ equivalent and should have obtained permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council. Applicants should have completed one year (12 months) Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (CRRI) by 31.7.2022. The condition of one year Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship is not applicable to those who had passed their final BDS Examination in 1988 or before, holding a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the Dental Council of India and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from the Kerala State Dental Council. (b) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be considered only for the NRI seats. Sons/daughters of non-Keralite parents who have obtained BDS degree from any of the Dental Colleges in Kerala State are also eligible. But they will not be eligible for communal /Special/PD reservation benefits.
Age: There is no upper age limit for General Quota candidates. Upper age limit will be 48 years for Service candidates under Medical Education Service and 46 years for service applicants under Health service and Insurance Medical Service quota, as on 2.9.2022.
Applicant should have qualified the National Eligibility-Cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Dental Courses (NEET MDS-2022) conducted by the National Board of Examination, New Delhi securing the required percentile cut-off score prescribed as applicable to his/her category and should figure in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Selection: Selection will be made from the Rank list and Category list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on the NEET MDS 2022 rank list and as per the eligibility provisions contained in the Prospectus for admission to MDS-2022.
Application: Applications can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in by 4 pm on 13.09.2022.
Application Fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST applicants). Service quota applicants applying for general merit seats, must pay an additional application fee of Rs. 1000/-.
Application fee can be remitted either by way of online payment or by cash at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala using the e-chalan generated during online application process.
Service Candidates in addition to applying online, should forward a copy of the printout of the acknowledgement page along with all required documents including their service details to the Controlling Officer concerned as stipulated in clause 11.7 of the prospectus, to reach on or before 13.09.2022.
