Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001 has invited applications for the entrance examination for admission to Integrated Five Year LLB Course 2022 in the four Government Law Colleges in Kerala and in the Private Self-financing Law Colleges in Kerala having seat sharing agreement with the State Government.

Eligibility: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen. However only those candidates who are of Kerala origin are eligible for any type of reservation or any of fee concession.

Academic Qualification: Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other equivalent examination with 45% marks (42% for SEBC, 40% for SC/ST). Those who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary pass certificate or first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission.

Those who have obtained 10 +2 or graduation/post-graduation through open school system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission.

Age: Applicant should complete 17 years of age as on 31.12.2022. Upper age limit will be subject to the final order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Selection: Selection to the Program will be based on the rank in the Computer Based Entrance Examination of two hours’ duration that will be conducted at centres across all districts in Kerala on a date and time to be notified later. It will have 200 objective type questions of three marks each from General English (60 questions), General Knowledge (45), Arithmetic & Mental ability (25) and Aptitude for Legal Studies (70). For every wrong answer one mark each will be deducted. More details are given in the Prospectus at www.cee.kerala.gov.in

To qualify and thereby figure in the rank list for admission a candidate should get a minimum of 10% of total marks in the Entrance Examination (5% for SC/ST).

Application: Applications can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 5 pm on 4.8.2022. Application fee is Rs. 685/- (Rs. 345/- for SC/ST). Application fee can be remitted online using Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or by cash at any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala using the e-challan that will be available during the submission of online application.

Allotment: The allotment of seats coming under the purview of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, will be made through a Centralised Allotment Process which is a Single Window System (SWS) of Allotment based on the options submitted online by the candidates who have been included in the Rank list and Category lists prepared by the CEE based on the entrance examination.

The Programs to which admissions will be offered include BA LLB, BBA LLB; B.Com LLB. List of Institutions that were included in CAP 2021-22 is given in the Prospectus.
