Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Sampige Road, 18th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru - 560012 has notified that admission to B.Sc (Nursing) Course will be through Common Entrance Test (CET)-2023.
Those seeking admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) courses in Karnataka, have to appear for Common Entrance Test conducted by KEA.
Eligibility: Applicant should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English papers individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks together in PCB papers at the II PUC or 12th Standard (10+2). SC/ST or Other Backward Classes applicants of Karnataka need only 40% marks in PCB papers together, in the qualifying examination.
All eligible candidates who are interested to take admission to B.Sc (Nursing) courses have to register for CET-2023 and submit / enter the application details through online in KEA portal by 11.59 pm to 22.4.2023 and pay the application fees before 23.4.2023. Further the candidates have to appear for CET-2023 for Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects to become eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) course.
Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Further, non-Karnataka candidates will also be not eligible for Government share of seats to B.Sc. (Nursing) course through KEA.
Karnataka candidates, who have already registered for CET-2023, need not register separately for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) courses.

Date extended for Registration/Application for CET-2023: KEA has extended the last date for Registration/Online Application for CET-2023, to be held on 20.5.2023 and 21.5.2023 for admission to various Professional Courses for Government share of seats in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2023-24.
Karnataka candidates who have not registered for CET-2023 or who have registered but did not complete the online application or those who have not paid the fees will be given a final chance to register, to complete the application before 22.4.2023 and to pay the fees before 23.4.2023. Dates will not be extended once again under any circumstances to apply online for CET-2023. Further, OCI students, who did not edit their Nationality, should visit KEA along with the requisite fee in the form of DD drawn in favour of Executive Director, KEA, payable at Bangalore, with all the necessary documents on or before 21.4.2023 for editing the same.
