83.7 per cent students clear Plus Two exams 2022 in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The pass percentage of the higher secondary examinations (Plus Two) stood at 83.7 per cent for the academic year of 2021-22. Minister for General Education, V Sivankutty, announced the examination result on Tuesday at 11 am.

The previous year, it was 87.94 per cent.

As many as 3,61,091 students appeared for the exams in 2,028 schools in the regular stream. Out of them, 3,02,865 cleared the exams.

A focus area from the syllabus was set for the exam. There were no grace marks for the extra-curricular activities this year.

Kozhikode marked the highest pass percentage with 87.79 per cent of students clearing for higher studies while Wayanad marked the lowest with 75.07 per cent. As many as 78 schools recorded 100 per cent pass.

Malappuram has the highest number of students who scored A+ grade in all subjects.

Minister congratulated all students who cleared eligibility for higher education. He thanked the officials and teachers for their cooperation to finish the exam and evaluation as per schedule.
