Return of Keralites: Thousand teachers deployed at Talapady
Kasaragod: Thousand teachers have been deployed on the Kerala – Karnataka border in Talapady here to examine the documents at the helpdesks set up. Two teachers are on duty at one helpdesk. There are 100 helpdesks.
At a time 200 teachers will be on duty at helpdesks. The desks function 24 hours in three shifts. 5 teams of 200 teachers have been formed. On rotation basis, one team will be on leave.
Among the two teachers at a desk, one will examine the documents and the other will feed the details on computer.
It is expected that Keralites will be returning in groups. Only the driver or leader will be allowed outside the vehicle. The documents should be shown at the helpdesks. Meanwhile, health inspectors will screen those inside the vehicle. If suspected, doctors will inspect them. If there is no symptom, they will be allowed to go home and be placed under quarantine. Those showing symptoms will be taken to corona care centers.
