PSC to allow exam centre change in district level exams for candidates with health issues
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission has decided to allow exam centre change for candidates who are Covid positive and those with serious health issues for district level examinations. The recommendation was made in a meeting held on Tuesday.
The exam centre change will be allowed after evaluating the request filed by the candidate and the availability of question papers. The exam centre change for state level exams were permitted earlier itself.
Many requests were obtained from candidates for exam centre change in the upcoming LP, UP Teacher exam to be held in November. Candidates claimed that travelling to far places to attend the exams will increase the chance of Covid spread.
However, officials said that allowing everyone who requested for change of exam centre would be impractical and those with health issues can be permitted.
