PSC exams to resume from June; postponed tests to be given priority
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) is mulling over resuming its exams from June.
After the lockdown is lifted and public transportation is restored, the exams will be conducted with priority given to exams which were postponed amid lockdown.
Small scale exams will be conducted as online tests for which PSC exam centres will be set up. Large scale exams where more candidates will be using OMR sheets may begin in August.
The exams will be conducted adhering to all COVID-19 protocols.
26 exams were scheduled in March and April months. All preparations including question papers were done. Storing it for too many days will create trouble. Hence PSC has decided to conduct exams as soon as possible.
However, the final exam calendar will depend on the government's decision on lockdown and school reopening.
