Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, Renigunta Road, Settipalli Post, Chittoor District, Tirupati-517506, has invited applications from Indian nationals for one Post of Project Assistant (PA) in a time-bound Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India sponsored project ‘Regression Models for Doubly Inflated Multivariate Count Data using Copula’ undertaken in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Tenure of Assignment will be 1 year at a consolidated monthly Salary Rs. 20,000/-. The position is extendable to one more year subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicant should hold a M.Sc. in Statistics or equivalent degree with good knowledge of Probability Theory, Statistical Inference, Regression Analysis, and Multivariate Statistical Analysis.
Knowledge in Statistical Software R, Matlab, good English writing skills and report writing are desirable.
Age limit will be 28 years as on the closing date of the application. Age may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
