Attempts to malign PSC; controversies over KAS unnecessary, says M K Sakeer
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Public Service Chairman M K Sakeer said that the allegations surfacing on the conduct of Kerala Administrative Service examination were baseless.
No one was allowed to write the exam unlawfully. All procedures related to the exam were done error-free. The allegations raised are attempts to malign PSC he said.
The questions of the KAS exam were prepared by experts. The rank files/guides are also prepared by experts. Similarities in these questions are just coincidental, he added.
However, he also said that PSC has recommended strict actions against those government employees who are illegally involved in PSC exam coaching.
“The higher attendance rate in KAS exam proved the guideline put forward by PSC was accepted by candidates. No action will be taken against those who submit valid reason,” he said adding KAS Main exam will be held with four to five months.
