Software Engineering Research Centre (SERC), International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad has notified 2 temporary, Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions in the research project ‘Development of Security Search Engine’, funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi.
Initially, the appointment will be made for one year/ duration of the project.
The Project aims at building Security Information Retrieval and Extraction eNgine (SIREN), a search engine for ’Information and Cyber Security’ with coverage across the subdomains of security. Responsibilities of the Fellow include, but not limited to, Literature reviews, Building of prototypes using web application stacks, Developing and deploying components and applications (as needed) and Security Analytics.
Eligibility: Applicant should be a MS/MTech in Computer Science or related discipline. Bachelors with at least 2 years of work experience in software development will also be considered. Applicant must have good coding skills and some knowledge in Application Security. Any experience in working in a research set up is a plus.
Salary: For both JRF posts, salary will be Rs.25,000/- per month (subject to revision)
