IIST Thiruvananthapuram
Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiyamala, Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for its flagship program ‘Young Talent Nurture’ (YTN) scheduled from 22nd May to 3rd June 2023.
The objective of the program is to nurture young mathematical talents by promoting their logical reasoning, analytical thinking and problem solving skills to help them to prepare themselves to meet big challenges occurring in higher levels of Mathematics and its areas of applications.
Eligibility: Applicant should have completed 3rd year/6th semester of B.Sc/ B.Tech/ Integrated BS-MS/Integrated M.Sc with Mathematics as one of their subjects.
Topics to be covered include Abstract Algebra, Differential Equations, Complex Analysis and Metric Spaces.
Selection of candidates will be purely on merit, based on academic record and the letter of recommendation from the Mathematics Professor with whom the applicant is closely acquainted. Only selected candidates will be intimated.
Selected Candidates will be provided free boarding and lodging for the entire duration of the programme.

Applications can be submitted online at https://www.iist.ac.in/ytn2023 latest by 7th May, 2023. Filling up contact details (preferably email) of a Mathematics Professor with whom the applicant is closely acquainted is mandatory.
Last date for receiving the recommendation letter is 8th May, 2023.
List of selected candidates will be published on 9th May, 2023.
