Wildlife Institute of India (WII), an Autonomous Institution of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India; Chandrabani, Dehradun - 248002 has notified 2 Contractual positions of Technical Assistant under the project ‘A Study for assessing the functioning and efficacy of Tiger Conservation Foundations (TCFs)’, purely on Contractual basis for a period of six months through Walk-in-Interview on 8 January 2021.
Applicant should have M.Sc. in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Forest Management/ Biodiversity/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Social Sciences and related subjected with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Those with prior experience of social surveys, knowledge of basic soft-wares, computer skills, report writing and GIS will be preferred. Applicant should be able to undertake field visits and carry out surveys in different Pas; should have good communication skills.
Age shall not be more than 35 years. Relaxation as per rules is available for SC/ST/OBC categories.
Emoluments will be Rs. 21,000/- consolidated per month.
