The Indian Navy has invited applications from eligible unmarried men & women for enrolment as Short Service Commission Officers in Information Technology (Executive Branch) under Special Naval Orientation Course January 2023 to be held at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility: Applicants should have been born between 02 January 1998 and 01 July, 2003 (both dates inclusive).

Applicant must have minimum 60% marks in English in class X or XII and should hold one of the undermentioned educational qualification with minimum 60% overall qualifying marks, in either or a combination of the following: (a) MSc/ BE/ B Tech/ M Tech (Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering / Information Technology/ Software Systems/ Cyber Security/ System Administration & Networking/ Computer Systems & Networking/ Data Analytics/ Artificial Intelligence) or (b) MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology). Those who have graduated/post graduated or are in the final year (regular/integrated) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA can apply.

Shortlisted candidates should appear for the SSB interview. They will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS.

Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the entry. The number of vacancies (tentative) is 50.
