Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) -Central Institute for Cotton Research, Regional Station, Maruthamalai Road, Coimbatore-641 003, has announced a Walk-in-Interview for temporary, contractual position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Young Professional (YP) at the Institute.
These appointments are till 31.03.2024 or even before on the discretion of the Competent Authority. The Young Professional will have no right to claim any employment or engagement in ICAR-CICR.
The positions and eligibility are as follows:
Senior Research Fellow (One position) IRM Project: MSc Agricultural Entomology. Desirable Qualification: Computer knowledge. Nature of work: Collection of data from five selected villages in Coimbatore District. Monthly stipend will be Rs. 31,000/- Pay Plus HRA.
Young Professional - I (One No) IRM Project: BSc Agriculture / BSc (Botany) / BSc (Zoology). Desirable Qualification: Computer knowledge. Willingness to stay at one of the selected villages in Coimbatore. District Nature of work: Collection of data from five selected villages in Coimbatore District. Consolidated monthly stipend will be Rs. 25,000/-
For SRF/YP I, the minimum age will be 21 and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules as on the date of interview. It is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC & other exempted categories of candidates as per rules.
Written Exam/ Walk-in-Interview will be held on 21.09.2023(F. N). Those attending have to report during 9 am – 9.30 am. There will be one hour written test on the date of Walk in- Interview.
Those attending should bring with them the original certificates and photocopy of all the certificates for verification in support of Age, Qualifications, Experience, Caste, Employment Exchange Registration Card and one Passport size photograph to be enclosed with the application while appearing for Walk in Interview. Those without Provisional degree certificates from the concerned University will not be eligible for Walk in Interview.
