Angamaly: Jes Maria Benny, scoring an All India Rank of 56 became the top scorer from Kerala in NEET UG 2018.
Kalpana Kumari from Bihar, topped the NEET 2018 securing 691 marks of 720. She scored 171 of 180 marks in Physics, 160 of 180 in Chemistry and 360 of 360 in Biology.
Jes Maria scored 664 marks out of 720.
Daughter of Angamaly Valavazhi Menacheri Benny and Jeceentha, Jes was a student at the Kanjirapally St. Antony’s Public School. She underwent entrance coaching at Brilliant Study Centre, Pala.
Benny is a locopilot at the Sothern Railways, Palakkad division and Jaceentha, a teacher at Chengal St Joseph High School.
