Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolakta has invited applications for a Research Associate Position under Raja Ramanna Fellowship Project at the Institute.
The position is available in the interface of Chemistry and Biology at Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata. The research activities will be centred around designing receptor specific lipid based drug and gene delivery systems for use in targeted cancer therapy and in dendritic cell based cancer immunotherapy.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold Phd in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Life science with proven publication track records.
Desirable additional experience and qualifications: Minimum two years’ research experience in research with amphiphilic molecules and/or in working with liposomal drug & gene delivery systems with at least one publication in peer reviewed journals; at least one-year research experience in animal cell culture techniques. Familiarity with in vivo animal research protocols would be very useful.
Applicant must not be over 35 years as on April 6, 2021 which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India. Relaxation in age, educational qualification or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
The position which is for one year will carry a remuneration of Rs. 47, 000/ plus admissible HRA per month.
Selection: Selection will be based on an On line (Google Meet) interview at 11.30 am on April 6, 2021.
