Research Admissions at Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad

Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications for admission to its Ph.D. Programs with Institute/ External Fellowship and Non full-time PhD Program for Working Professionals.

Eligibility: Applicants with B.Tech./ M.Tech./ B.Pharm./ M.Pharm. Degree/ M.Sc./ MCA/ MBA/ M.Com. can apply. Applicant should have passed the qualifying examination with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PH candidates)/equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Index when joining the Program. Applicant must have secured at least 65%/60% cumulatively or equivalent CGPI at the time of application submission.

Additional requirements: For admission to PhD in regular mode with Institute Fellowship, applicant should have GATE Score/ GRE Score/UGC/CSIR NET or JRF or should be INSPIRE Qualified Candidates for JRF purposes or should be CAT Qualified OR should have GMAT Score depending on the basic qualification.

For admission to Non-Full-time PhD Program for Working Professionals, applicant should have 2 years of work experience in the applicant’s current organization.

B.Tech candidate with minimum CGPI of 8.5 and who clears the requirements of the entrance process will be considered for admission to Ph.D.

Those with CGPI of more than 8.0 from IITs/ IIITs/ IISERs/ and such institutions of National importance could be called for interaction/interview sessions directly.

Application can be submitted online at the link provided in the Notification at https://www.iiita.ac.in/ latest by 24.11.2022. Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for General/ EWS/ OBC category; Rs.500/- for SC/ ST/ PWD category. The fee may be paid by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities.
