The School of Insurance Studies, National Law University, Jodhpur Nh-65, Nagaur Road, Mandore, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342 304, has invited applications for admission to the four semesters (two years), full-time residential Post Graduate Programmes in Insurance (MBA-Insurance).
The course content has been designed keeping in mind the needs and requirement of the insurance sector with subjects ranging from principles and practice of insurance, Risk Management, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Lability, Aviation Insurance Actuarial aspects of insurance, Legal aspects of insurance, insurance regulations etc. The program also recognizes the particular needs of management in the insurance sector, and therefore the course is integrated with subjects such as management, finance, marketing etc to make it a comprehensive programme.
Eligibility: Applicant must have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline including B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Applicant should have scored minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th also. Those belonging to reserved categories need only 45% marks at all levels.
Applicant must have appeared in CAT or MAT or CMAT 2022-2023 and scored minimum 45 percentiles in case of CAT, 140 total score in case of CMAT, 300 composite score in case of MAT. Those perusing final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply provisionally subject to the conditions specified in the Admission Information Brochure at the Admission link at http://www.insuranceschoolnlu.ac.in/
Admission shall be based on merit determined by giving weightage of 50% for marks obtained in Graduation / in pre-final examination (as applicable) and 50% for Qualifying Test.
