National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India; Plot No. G-2, Dwarka, Sector-10, New Delhi-110075, has invited applications for admission to the One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Integrated Geriatric Care, for 2022- 23.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline preferably Social Sciences (Sociology, Social Work/Social Welfare, Anthropology, Psychology), Nursing, Home Science or related fields or equivalent, from a recognized University or Institute.
Preference will be given to the candidates having certificates / experience(s)/training of working in Age Care Organizations.
Applicant should be between 21-40 years (in completed years as on date of advertisement- The advertisement was published in dailies on 6.1.2023).
There are 25 seats and selection will be made on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Bachelor’s degree and interview.
Application: Application form can be downloaded from www.nisd.gov.in. It can also be collected personally from Senior Citizen Division, NISD from 10 am to 5 p.m. on all working days.
The last date for receipt of the filled in application form will be within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
The programme will commence from last week of January 2023.
