Post-graduate Ayurveda admissions in Kerala: Apply by January 28


Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda in Government, Aided and Self Financing Ayurveda Colleges of Kerala.

The Post Graduate courses offered are Kayachikitsa; Salakyathantra; Rasasastra; Bhaishajyakalpana; Dravyaguna; Swasthavritta; Prasuti & Streerog; Ayurveda Samhitha Sidhantha; Panchakarma; Kaumarabhrithya; Salyathantra; Manovigyan evum Manasa Roga; Agadathantra; Kriya Sharir and Rog Nidana.

Participating Institutes include Government Ayurveda Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Trippunithura and Kannur, Aided Ayurveda Colleges at Ollur and Kottakkal and other Self Financing Colleges.

Applicant should be an Indian Citizen of Kerala origin except for Foreign Quota.

Applicant should not be over 45 years of age as on 31.07.2021, subject to a relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates. In the case of service quota candidates, the age of teacher’s quota candidates should be 50 as on 31.07.2021 and that in the case of medical officer quota candidates should be 46 as on 31.07.2021.

Applicant should have passed BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS or its equivalent degree with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject. But exemption for minimum marks prescribed for admission for MD (Ay)/MS (Ay) is granted to the students who have passed the BAMS/BAM examination before 1995 from the Universities of Kerala without 50% of marks for theory and practical. The cut off date for completion of internship shall be 31.12.2021.

All applicants including those in Service quota, should have qualified the National Eligibility-Cum Entrance Test for PG (Ay) Courses (AYUSH PGET) and should figure in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Applications can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 5 pm of 28. 1.2022. Applicant should upload Certificates/Documents mentioned in the prospectus as part of the application.

Option registration facility is available together with the online application registration process. Candidates can submit options by clicking the menu item ‘Option Registration’available in the home page.

The list of Ayurveda colleges/courses to which Commissioner for Entrance Examinations makes allotments will be available in the option registration page.
