Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati, an autonomous Institution of Ministry of Education, Govt of India; Karakaisbadi Road, Tirupati - 517507, has invited applications for admission to its Ph.D Program, August 2022.

Ph.D Programs are offered in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Earth & Climate Sciences for August 2022 Session. In addition to research, the programme involves coursework and teaching assistantship.

Subject requirement in the qualifying course under minimum eligibility criteria are as follows:

Biology: Master's degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/Biological Sciences/ Ecological Sciences/Agricultural Sciences/ Psychology or M.Tech/ M.VSc/MBBS degree or BE/B.Tech.

Chemistry: Master's degree in Physics/Chemistry/ Mathematics/Biology or ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech

Mathematics: Master’s degree in any branch of Science Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Biological Sciences/ M.Tech/ M.E/B.E./ B.Tech

Physics: Master's degree in Physics/Astronomy & Astrophysics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology or M.E./M.Tech. or BE/B.Tech

Earth & Climate Science: Master degree in: Geology/Geophysics/Physics/Meteorology /Atmospheric science.

Those with BS-MS Dual degree from any IISER are eligible for admission to all programs.
