Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), a Deemed-to- be -University; established by Government of India; Longowal, Sangrur District, Punjab- 148106, has invited applications for admission to Ph.D. programme for the Academic Session 2023-24.
Ph.D admissions are open in the disciplines of Engineering, Science, Management & Humanities. The subjects include (i) Chemical Engineering (ii) Chemistry (iii) Computer Science & Engineering (iv) Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering (v) Electronics and Communication Engineering (vi) Humanities (English) (vii) Management (viii) Food Engineering & Technology (ix) Mathematics (x) Mechanical Engineering (xi) Physics (xii) Interdisciplinary Research (xiii) Central Facility
Admissions are offered under the following categories (i) Full-time scholar with institute fellowship (GATE/NET Qualified) (ii) Full-time scholars without institute fellowship (GATE/NET Qualified) (iii) Part-time scholar (GATE/NET Qualified) (iv) Engagement of Research Assistants (GATEINET Qualified) (v) Working professional in Ph.D. Executive (Part-Time) programme.

Application format is available with the Notification.
Application Fee: Application fee is Rs. 2065/- in respect of General and Other Categories (Boys), Rs. 1475/- in respect of General and other Categories (Females) and Rs. 1180/- in respect of reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PH). Candidates are required to pay application fee in the form of DD in favour of Director, SLIET, Longowal, payable at Longowal.
The filled application may be scanned and submitted along with all relevant enclosures (PDF file) as per guidelines available in information brochure- 2023 available on website of Institute and proof of payment of application fee, to email id- deanrandc@sliet.ac.in to reach latest by 26.9.2023.
Interview will be on 5.10.2023. Original application form and self-certified copies of documents along with original DD are required to be deposited by hand in the Office of Dean (R&C) on the day of scheduled interview/presentation.
