Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has issued the notification for the third round allotment to PG Medical Courses, Kerala for 2023.
The vacancy position has been published at www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Fresh option registration facility will be available to candidates in the third round allotment. Candidates should register options to any seats they wish to join if allotted, irrespective of the vacancy status notified; as any vacancy that may arise during the counseling will also be filled based on these options. As applicable category conversions of seats will take place in the third round allotment, while registering options for the third round allotment candidates are advised to take into account those probable vacancies that may arise due to the applicable category conversions. The options registered in Third round allotment will only be considered for the Stray vacancy seat filling.
The facility for Online registration options will be available till 3 pm on 21.09.2023. Third-round allotment will be published on 27.09.2023. All candidates who get an allotment should join the course and college to which they are allotted along with the required documents and pay the fee at the colleges during 28.09.2023 to 4 pm on 30.09.2023.
Those candidates who have not registered in Round I can register for 3rd round and have to pay security deposit for fresh registration which is Rs. 10000/-. SC/ST/OE and other candidates eligible for fee concession will have to pay Rs. 5000/- as the security deposit. The security deposit paid for the third round allotment will be adjusted in the course fee if the candidate gets an allotment or else will be refunded after the end of counseling.
Those who have got allotment in round 2 and did not take admission have to pay security deposit for fresh registration in the third round. Those who have vacated the seat after the date prescribed by the CEE, will not be eligible to participate in the 3rd round allotment.
The options registered in the previous rounds will not be considered for allotment in the 3rd round. Hence, candidates should register option afresh if they wish to participate in the third round allotment.
If any candidate does not join the seat allotted in round 3, he/she may exit with forfeiture of the security deposit. Such candidates cannot participate in further rounds of allotment. If a candidate freshly registers in round 3 and is not allotted any seat, he/she is eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.
Candidates getting allotment in round 3 will not have any claim on earlier rounds allotted seat.
Those candidates who are included in the list of candidates shared by the MCC will not be considered for the third round allotment.
Penalty Conditions: A candidate allotted a seat in the third round allotment in State counseling will be ineligible to participate in any further counseling. The list of candidates allotted/ admitted on the last date of admission in phase 3 will be forwarded to MCC as the list of candidates’ ineligible to participate in any further rounds of All India or State Counseling. Those candidates who vacate the seats (allotted in Round I, round 2 or round 3) after the last date of joining prescribed for Round 3 will not be considered for further rounds of counseling and a penalty will be initiated as per the prospectus conditions.
The security deposit paid for the third round allotment of those candidates who do not join the seat allotted in the third round allotment or stray vacancy filling allotment will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded. A candidate who joins a seat allotted through third round allotment and then vacates the seat for any reason will be liable to pay an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- in addition to the security deposit as a penalty to CEE as this is the last round of CAP. This will be imposed irrespective of their category/reservation/financial status.
Stray Vacancy Filling Phase: After the Third round of allotment, if vacancies exist or arise, those vacancies shall be filled through Stray vacancy allotment for which, options registered during 3rd round allotment will be considered.
