Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001 has notified the activities related to the first phase of Centralized Allotment to Post Graduate Medical Courses for the academic year 2022-23.
All the eligible candidates included in the Kerala State Merit list, who have applied for admission to PG Medical Courses 2022 in the State can register their options online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in by 4 pm on 29.09.2022.
A security deposit of Rs.10,000/- will have to be paid at the time of option registration. For SC/ST/OE and other candidates who are eligible for fee concession, Rs.5000/- will have to be paid as security deposit.
Free exit has been offered to all candidates during the first phase of counselling. Accordingly, those candidates, who have got an allotment/admission through first phase state counselling, can leave the seats without paying any penalty. They will not lose their security deposit. But a candidate who does not join the allotted seat in phase 1 or who vacates the seat joined in Phase 1 will not be considered for phase 2 allotment. His/her options will be deleted and he/she will only be able to participate in the Mop-up round wherein fresh options are to be registered.
If a candidate gets an allotment and takes admission in the first phase, security deposit will be adjusted to the tuition fee to be paid at the College. If a candidate does not get an allotment in the first or subsequent phases, the security deposit will be refunded after the completion of the entire counselling process. The options registered in this phase will be considered for the Second phase counselling as there is no facility for fresh option registration in the second phase. However, option confirmation/deletion/rearrangement of the existing options will be possible in Phase 2.
Candidate shall have to click ‘PG Medical 2022-Candidate Portal’ available in the above website and enter their Application Number and Password in order to access their home page. The Candidates can register their options online by clicking the menu item ‘Option Registration’ available in the home page after paying the security deposit. Candidates can give options as per their priority of the Course-College combinations in the option list. A candidate needs to give options only to a Course-College combination if he/she is sure to join the course and college, under the chosen quota, if allotted. Options registered online alone will be considered for allotment to the courses.
Candidates who seek admission under Minority/NRI quota in Self Financing Medical Colleges shall have to register options online to the desired courses/colleges. Those candidates who have submitted all valid documents as stipulated for NRI claim and those who have been issued memo for defect in the documents submitted for NRI claim will be eligible for registering options to the seats listed as NRI seats. However, options under NRI quota will be considered for allotment only if the candidate is found eligible for the respective quota based on the documents uploaded with the online application.
Those candidates with Memo for defect in the NRI documents submitted, will have to submit the required documents by 4 pm on 29.9.2022.
