Directorate of Admissions, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), has notified the activities related to the admission to the Undergraduate and Integrated Programs offered by the University for 2022-23 based on the ranks of the Common Admission Test (CAT).
The activities including Online Mark Entry, Option Registration and Rearrangement for B.Tech /B.LET/ MSc. (Five Year Integrated) in Photonics / Computer Science (AI & DS) Programme 2022 & NCL updation facility for candidates in the above rank lists and also Integrated MSc in Sciences have to be completed by 15th August 2022.
The rank list is prepared based only on the CAT 2022 score obtained by the candidate for the concerned programme. Those who are in the rank list of B.Tech. / M.Sc. (Five year Integrated) in Photonics / M.Sc (Five year Integrated) in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Data Sciences) Programme should invariably submit their marks obtained in the qualifying examination and register their options in the login/home page. Those who fail to submit their marks and register their options will not be considered for allotments in any case.
Candidates who are in the rank lists for admission to B.Tech. / M.Sc. (Five year Integrated) in Photonics / M.Sc (Five year Integrated) in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Data Sciences) Programmes and also of Integrated M.Sc in Sciences ,can login to their profile and update their NCL status once ,if they wish to do so. The candidates can modify or edit the Options once exercised by them till the last date of online option registration. However, the online options stored in the University database as on the date and time of closing of online option registration shall be treated as final and no further changes will be entertained in any case. This option alone will be considered for further processing.
Based on the options submitted by the candidates, online/offline allotment will be made at the time of counselling/admission to the various programmes.
Based on the options submitted by the candidates, their eligibility and availability of seats in various branches, candidates will be allotted to the branches. The details of the allotment, if any, will be published in the home page of the candidates. Students who get allotment must pay the requisite fees within the stipulated period. There won’t be any individual communications regarding the allotment and hence candidates are directed to check the admission website and their home page on a daily basis.
If a candidate fails to produce required certificates at the time of certificate verification or fails to pay the fee, his/her claim for admission to the programme will be summarily forfeited.
The verification of the eligibility of the candidate for admission to a programme is done by the University only after the allotment of seats to the candidate based on his/her options.
The students who successfully complete the allotment process and joins for a programme should report as per instructions published in the website https://admissions.cusat.ac.in
