Nursing Paramedical Bachelors Admissions at NIMHANS Bangalore

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), an Institute of National Importance, Bengaluru, has invited applications for admissions to Undergraduate Courses for September 2022 session. The Programs and eligibility for admission are as follows.

B.Sc. in Nursing (4 Years + 1 Year Internship): Passed Pre-University examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) / Senior School Certificate Examination/Pre-Degree Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English,
with a minimum 45% aggregate in the above subjects.

B.Sc. in Radiography (3 years + 1-year Internship): Pre-University examination conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education or any recognized State
Board or any equivalent examination recognized by NIMHANS, Bengaluru with English and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects with
45% aggregate or Job oriented Diploma course from a recognized board with Diagnostic Radiography as vocational subject

B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology (3 years + 1-year Internship): Pass in 2-year Pre-University examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an
aggregate of 45% in Science subjects.

B.Sc. in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology (3 years + 1-year Internship): Pre- Degree/Pre University/12th standard with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and
Biology as main subjects and having 45% aggregate in Science subjects For all courses, a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate will be given for candidates
belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category.

Age Limit (calculated as on 01.09.2022): For all B.Sc. courses, age of the candidates should be between 17 and 25 years. Age is relaxable by a maximum of 5
years in the case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates and by a maximum of 3 years for OBC candidates, for the courses where the seats are reserved for OBC/SC/ST only.

Seats available under All India Category for Different courses are as follows: B.Sc. in Nursing-35; B.Sc. in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology-2; B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology- 4; B.Sc. in Radiography- 4.

Selection to the Courses will be based on Entrance Test of 90 minutes’ duration to be conducted in Bengaluru city only on 24.7.2022. The question paper for Entrance test will contain 100 multiple choice objective type questions. There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Applications can be submitted online at latest by 15.7.2022.
