National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, A- 34, Sector - 62, Noida - 201309 has invited applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to 2-Year (4 semesters) M.Sc. Hospitality Administration program for 2022-23 academic session, jointly offered by NCHMCT & Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
The job oriented program equips candidates with knowledge, technical skills, analytical ability, teaching aptitude, managerial capacity building and exposure of Hospitality Industry as well as teaching in Hospitality Institute.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU or Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management. Those appearing in the final semester/final year exam (but passed all the papers in all earlier semesters/years) of the qualifying course and able to submit their complete Bachelor’s Degree latest by 31st October 2022 can also apply.
Selection: Admission to the program will be based on merit in the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) and choice of IHMs exercised by the candidates. Allotment of IHM will be through a centralized online counselling process.
JEE to be held from 10 am to 12 noon on 19th June 2022 (Sunday) will be Written offline test comprising of 100 MCQs on hospitality related generic questions of graduate level as well as General knowledge, General English and Numeric aptitude. Pattern of the Test is given in the Information Brochure that can be downloaded from www.nchm.gov.in
Application: Application can be submitted online at www.nchm.gov.in latest by 27th May 2022.
Application fee is Rs.1000/-. It will be Rs.700/- for General EWS and Rs.500/- for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / PwD/Transgender to be paid online or by way of Demand Draft.
Applicant has to send print out of the filled in online application and other documents, to reach NCHMCT, Noida (A-34, Sector 62, Noida 201 309), latest by 31st May, 2022.
