Kerala +1 admissions: First allotment on August 3, classes to commence from August 22

Thiruvananthapuram: The first allotment to the plus one admission in Kerala will be held on August 3. The plan is to windup the three-phase major allotment process by August 20 and to begin classes from August 22.

The trial allotment preceding the first allotment is on July 28. The supplementary allotments will be conducted from August 23 to September 30. The admissions will conclude on September 30.

The deadline for those applying under sports quota is July 26.

The admissions to unaided-management quota will happen from August 8 to August 20.

The distribution of community quota application forums will begin on August 1.

As the deadline to apply for the single-window admission system ended on Monday, the department received a total of 4,71,278 applications. It includes 31,615 students who completed class 10 in CBSE and 3,095 ICSE students.

Malappuram topped with 80,022 applications while Wayanad recorded the least, 12,510.
