Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001 has published the final answer keys and the scores of candidates of the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination-2023 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
Candidates can login to their home page through the link ‘KEAM-2023 Candidate Portal’ and then click the menu item ‘Entrance Exam Score’ to view the Entrance score.
The provisional Answer Keys for the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination were published on 17.05.2023. Few complaints regarding the questions/answer keys have been received and the same were examined by the
Expert Committees constituted for the purpose. Based on the recommendations of the respective Expert Committees, certain modifications have been made in the Answer Keys for the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination.
The same has been published in the Notification dated 31.5.2023 of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations available at www.cee.kerala.gov.in
Accordingly, 1 question has been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper I (Physics) and the score obtained for the remaining 71 questions has been multiplied by (72/ 71) to determine the score in Engineering Paper I (Physics), corrected to four decimal places. Two questions have been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper I (Chemistry) and the score obtained for the remaining 46 questions has been multiplied by (48/46) to determine the score in Engineering Paper I (Chemistry), corrected to four decimal places.
In Engineering Paper II (Mathematics) 3 questions have been deleted and the score obtained for the remaining 117 questions have been multiplied by (120/117) to determine the score in Engineering Paper II (Mathematics), corrected to four decimal places.
The scores obtained by the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of the Engineering Entrance Examination are added to get the total score of the candidate in the Engineering Entrance Examination.
The valuation of the OMR answer scripts is computerized and, hence error free. There is no provision for revaluation of answer scripts or re-checking of marks in this system of evaluation.
The rank list for the Engineering course shall be prepared by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance examinations for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together), and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in clause 9.7.4 (b) (iii). Qualifying for the Engineering Entrance Examination is subject to Prospectus clause 9.7.5 (i).
The rank list for the B. Pharm course shall be prepared on the basis of the index mark calculated as per clause 9.7.4(f) of the Prospectus for KEAM 2023 out of the marks obtained in Paper-I (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering/Pharmacy Entrance Examination.
The scores of some candidates who have not submitted the required documents to correct the defects in their application for KEAM 2023 or for some other reason have been withheld.
