National Inland Navigation Institute; Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Govt. of India; Gaighat, Patna-800 007, has invited applications for admission to the residential Inland Vessel General Purpose Rating Course as per New Inland Vessel Act 2021
Eligibility: Applicant should have passed Class 10, from recognized board. Applicant should be between 18 years and 25 years of age as on 31.01.2023. Relaxation up-to 5 years will be given for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidates. Applicants should be physically & medically fit. Eyesight should be 6/6 and applicant should not have color blindness.
Course Duration is 3.5 months and course fee is Rs. 35,200/-
Seat Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC & 10% for EWS

Filled application with relevant documents should reach ‘The Principal, National Inland Navigation Institute, Gaighat, Patna-800007’ by post or should be sent to the e-mail info@niniedu.in to reach latest by 31.01.2023.
The qualifying test will be held on 05.02.2023. Interview for shortlisted candidates will be held on the same day.
