GATE based CCMT PG Allotment: Register by June 12

The online registration for admission to the M.Tech/M.Arch./M.Plan Programmes at Participating institutes under the scheme of Centralized Counselling for Admissions to M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan (CCMT) - 2020 has commenced at https://ccmt.nic.in/

CCMT - 2020 is for admissions to the M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan programmes, based on GATE score in 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Isntitute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, 9 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and 10 Government Funded Technical Institutes GFTIs). The full list of Participating Institutes is available at the website.

Eligibility: Applicant should have passed the qualifying degree securing at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC applicants and 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD applicants.

Applicant must have a valid GATE Score of the year 2018 / 2019 / 2020. The GATE subject needed for admission to each programme of each of the Participating Institutes is given at https://ccmt.nic.in/ (Qualifying Degree and GATE Exam paper mapping link). The detailed academic eligibility requirement is also available at the website.

The Counselling process will be in three stages.

The first stage involves Online Registration, Choice Filling and Locking of Choices. Online registration and choice filling can be done at https://ccmt.nic.in/ latest by June 12, 2020. Choice Locking of Choices can be done during June 5 to June 12 at the website.

Registration fee is Rs. 2,500/- for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC and Rs.2,000/- for SC/ST/PwD which can be paid online (Net Banking/ Debit Card/ UPI) or at any branch of SBI through e-Challan.

The second stage is the Counselling stage. There will be three Rounds of Counselling. It includes Seat Allotment, Depositing Seat Acceptance Fee, Uploading Documents, Submitting Willingness, and Online Document Verification. The first allotment is to be announced on June 17, 2020.

The third stage is the Online Document Verification and Admission at the finally allotted Institute.

The process is being coordinated by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur.
