Directorate of Admissions, University of Calicut, has invited applications for admission to Entrance Examination based Post Graduate (PG) Programmes for 2021-22.
PG Programmes at University Teaching Departments: M A Programmes: Arabic Language & Literature, English Language & Literature, Hindi Language & Literature, Functional Hindi & Translation, Malayalam, Comparative Literature, Sanskrit, Urdu Language & Literature, Economics, Folklore, History, Journalism & Mass Communication, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Women's Studies, Master of Theatre Arts (M.T.A).
M.Sc Programmes: Applied Chemistry, Applied Geology, Applied Plant Science, Applied Psychology, Applied Zoology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Human Physiology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Radiation Physics, Statistics, Forensic Science, Biotechnology. M.Com., M.Lib.I.Sc., M.P.Ed, LLM with Double Specialisation.
PG Programmes in Affiliated Colleges/Centres: M.A Journalism & Mass Communication, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. Food Science & Technology, M.Sc. General Bio-Technology, M.Sc. Health & Yoga Therapy, M.Sc Forensic Science, MSW, M.P.Ed, and M.C.A.
There will be a Common Entrance examination for admission to the following group of programmes (i) M.A Hindi Language & Literature and M.A Functional Hindi & Translation (ii) M.Sc. Applied Plant Science and M.Sc. General Biotechnology (iii) MSc Physics and MSc Radiation Physics.
There will be examination centres at Thrissur, Calicut University-Malappuram, Kozhikode and Palakkad districts.
Application: Applications can be submitted online at www.cuonline.ac.in till 10.05.2021. Those awaiting the results of the qualifying examination can also apply. All those seeking admission including those who seek admission under the Management quota in affiliated/self-financing colleges shall register online and appear for the entrance examination.
Online Registration Fee is as follows: General Rs.370/- (For two Courses); SC/ST Rs.160/- (For two Courses). For one additional course Rs.55/- shall be paid by all candidates. For M.Tech Nanoscience and Technology it will be Rs.555/- and Rs.280/- respectively.
