All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna; Phulwarisharif, Patna, Bihar - 801507 has invited applications for admission to the DM Clinical & Interventional Physiology Programme offered by the Institute for July 2023 Session.
There are 4 seats for the 3 year course. There is no reservation for the course.
Eligibility: Applicant should have M.D./DNB in Physiology from any INI (all AIIMS, JIPMER, etc.) or any Institute recognized by the MCI/NMC. Upper age limit is 45 years as on the last date of the online application. It is relaxed by 3 years for OBC and by 5 years for SC/ST; PwBD and Ex-Serviceman and Commissioned Officers including ECO, SSCO who have rendered or released on satisfactory assignment.
Applicants must have completed the requisite qualification, degree, and tenure by 15.07.2023.
Selection: Selection will be based on the Institute of National Importance-Super Specialty (INI-SS) AIIMS Patna Entrance Test of 2 hours’ duration, to be held on 14.06.2023 at various centres across the country. It will have 100 Multiple choice questions. Each correct answer will get 1 mark while each incorrect answer will get minus one-third (-1/3) mark.
Questions will be from the subject of the qualifying post graduate degree - MD/ DNB Physiology, especially focusing on clinical and applied components. Candidate has to score minimum of the 50th percentile score to qualify in the test.
Results are expected to be declared latest by 25.06.2023.
The first counselling for admission will take place on 10.07.2023. Selected candidates are required to join the course on or before 15.07.2023. The competent authority may permit an extension till 31.07.2023 based on the merit of each case.
Application: Application can be submitted online at https://aiimspatna.edu.in/ latest by 15.05.2023. Application Fee is Rs. 4000/- (Rs. 2500/- for SC/ST/ Women) to be paid through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking. There is no application fee for PwBD candidates.
After final submission of online application, candidates are required to take the print out of the application and send the hard copy along with all the relevant documents to ‘Assistant Controller of Examination, Examination Section, Admin Block, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna, Phulwarisharif, Patna, Bihar - 801507’ to reach latest by 18.05.2023.
