National Commission for Homoeopathy, Jawahar Lal Nehru Bhartiya Chikitsa Avum Homoeopathy Anusandhan Bhavan No.61-65, Institutional Area, Opp. D. Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110 058, has given certain clarifications related to admissions to BHMS and MD (Hom.) courses for 2021-22.
The Commission has informed that it has come to its notice that some Homoeopathic Medical Colleges/Institutions are misguiding and misinterpreting the public- parents and aspirants- alluring for admissions in BHMS and MD (Hom.) courses in their colleges and giving publicity that the students who have not qualified the NEET examination can take admissions in their Institutions/Colleges. The Commission has clarified that such information are false and misleading.
The students who have not qualified NEET Exam may be permitted by the Colleges to fill the vacant seats after exhausting NEET qualified candidates list, as directed by some of the Hon’ble High Courts.
Competent authority has already reduced 5 percentile in NEET-UG score for eligibility for admission to Undergraduate course.
In these circumstances, the Commission has informed all that they must refer to the interim orders of the Hon’ble High Courts before taking admissions in the above courses without qualifying the NEET/AIAPGET Exam.
