Bachelor Programmes at Divynagan Institutes: Apply by July 10

Applications have been invited for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2020) for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Bachelor in Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO) at various Institutes under the Department of Empowerment for PwDs (DIVYANGJAN), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

Institutes: The Institutes are (i) Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Research (SVNIRTAR), Cuttack (ii) National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities ( NILD), Kolkata and (iii) National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities ( NIEPMD), Chennai. All the institutes offer the BPT, BOT and BPO Programmes of 4 years duration + 6 Months Internship.

Eligibility: Applicant should have generally passed qualifying Class 12 /equivalent examination with specified subjects and percentage of marks. For BPT and BOT, applicant should have passed with English Physics, Chemistry and Biology while for BPO, applicant should have passed with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics. Applicant should have been born between 1st January, 2000 and 31st December, 2003 (inclusive of both dates). For SC, ST & PH (Divyangjan) categories, applicant should be born between 1st January, 1995 and 31st December, 2003 (inclusive of both dates).

CET: The Common Entrance Test for selection will be held on 2 August 2020 (Sunday) at various centres across the country as per the list given in the Information Brochure.

The Entrance Test will be of 2 hours duration and will have one paper consisting of two parts with multiple choices objective type questions of 10+2 standard, based on Senior Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) Curriculum. Part A will have 10 questions from General Ability & General Knowledge. Part B, will have 30 questions each from, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology & Botany)/Mathematics. Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking. Sample questions for the Test are given in the Information Brochure.
