Applications have been invited for admission to the 3 year, B.Sc. (Medical Technology) Radiography course at University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) & Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095 and at G.B. Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (GIPMER), Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, 64 Khamba, Raj Ghat, New Delhi-110002 under University of Delhi.
This is a vocational educational technician course in X-ray technology which is expected to fulfil the need of trained manpower in the field of health services. The course aims to enhance the standard of knowledge and experience of the students in the field of Medical Technology (Radiography) and to update them with the latest developments taking place in the field of radio diagnosis. Students will be aware and conversant with latest sophisticated modern Imaging modalities such as CT scan etc. and various radiations safety measures meant for staff members and general public.
Eligibility: Applicant should be an Indian citizen and should attain the age of 17 years by 31st December, 2023. Applicant should have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system as a regular student, conducted by the CBSE/Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination/Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi recognized school & situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Those who have passed 12th from Patrachar Vidhalaya or National Institute of Open Schooling will not be eligible.
Applicant should have studied Physics, Chemistry, (including Organic Chemistry), Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English (core or elective) and secured minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category and 45% for Gen-PH candidates) in aggregate in these subjects. Applicant must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English examinations both in theory and practical separately.

Selection: Selection will be based on an Entrance Test to be held from 11 am to 12.30 pm on 20th May, 2023 (Saturday) at University College of Medical Sciences & G.T.B. Hospital (College Block), Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095.
The general standard of the competitive Entrance examination will be that of 12th Class under the 10+2 scheme. The entrance test will consist of one paper containing objective type (multiple choice) questions from Physics, Chemistry, (including Organic Chemistry), Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Application: Application can be submitted online at www.ucms.ac.in (through the Notifications link), latest by 4 pm on 5th May, 2023. Application fee of Rs.1000/- (for SC/ST/PWD Rs. 500) shall be paid online by this time limit.
Admit Card can be downloaded from www.ucms.ac.in from 15th May, 2023 (Monday).
