The Bombay high court granted divorce to a man after finding out that his wife has made his life miserable and there were evidences to prove the same.
Pradeep and Bhavana got married in 2014. But she kept quarrelling with him and left his house.
Aggrieved by her cruel acts, he filed a petition for divorce. But the family court dismissed it. He then filed an appeal in the Bombay high court.
While the divorce case was pending, she had raised allegations against him in a matrimonial website. The high court took serious note of it.
The court observed that the various allegations she raised were unfounded and disbelieved her.
‘Her intention was to get rid of him. How can her husband live with her? The evidences are telling that she had made life miserable for him, the court said. In such a circumstance there is no other way but to grant divorce,’ the court said.
