A law college without facilities? No infrastructure? No good classrooms or library? So deplorable. Don’t spoil the standard of legal education.

The Delhi HC directed the Bar Council of India which supervises legal education in India to close down colleges which have no facilities. The Court directed the Bar Council to conduct surprise inspections and examine the facilities. It has to confirm to standards laid down by the council. If not, the malady has to be cured.

The Court observed that the inspection reports have to be published on the website

The legal education system cannot go to a deplorable state, the Court warned.
