“A children’s book becomes complete when content is associated with illustrations. When the author can illustrate too, it increases its charm. Russian writer V Suteev used to write and illustrate his books. Now we have two authors who can do the same in Malayalam,” Subhash Chandran added.

The book ‘Thavalakalude Helicopter’ tells the story of two adventurous frogs. A yellow frog which wishes to become world famous and a green frog which wants to fly like a bird and a little sparrow are the main characters in the book. Their attempts to fulfill their dreams make up the book.
