Adhene, a student of class X, is already a poet; publishes first book with 88 poems
Kalamassery (Kochi): Adhene Elizabeth Jolly is a student of class 10, but she has already penned over 100 poems in English. She started writing when she was in class 4 and later focused on poetry only. After writing over 100 poems on different subjects, she published a book titled 'The Unicorn of My Dreams' including 88 poems.
Adhene's poems have been published in national and international magazines already. She is the younger daughter of Mulanthuruthy native Jolly Varghese and Puthuppally native Elizabeth Nainan. Adhene studies in class 10 at St Paul's International School in Kalamassery.
There were no books of poetry at Adhene's house. She has not devoted any particular time for writing. Sometimes, she begins writing soon after coming back from school. She writes 20 lines within 15 minutes. Even her friends came to know that Adhene writes poetry, only after seeing her published book.
