Yesudas should not be denied entry into Guruvayur temple anymore: K. Kunjiraman MLA
Kozhikode: Singer K. J. Yesudas should not be denied entry into Guruvayur Sri Krishna temple anymore, said K. Kunjiraman, CPM leader and MLA from Uduma in Kasaragod.
The MLA put forward the demand in a letter sent to the column ‘Vayanakkar Ezhuthunnu’ (readers write) in Mathrubhumi Azhchappathippu (Mathrubhumi weekly).
Kunjiraman’s letter was in response to the special edition of Mathrubhumi weekly to celebrate the 80th birthday of the celestial singer.
Pointing out the article written by S. Gopalakrishnan, the MLA appreciated the publisher for specially mentioning the wrongdoing of a society that prevents singer K. J. Yesudas from entering the Guruvayur temple.
MLA Kunjiraman said he believes that Yesudas was the number one devotee among devotees. He added that devotees of the present day should remember true devotion.
