Joy Mathew steps out of house to buy books after a COVID break
Kozhikode: After spending 58 days of COVID lockdown at his home, actor-director Joy Mathew first stepped out of house to visit Mathrubhumi Book stall. He was in search of his favourite books and said that books are the only relief during this period of alienation.
Joy Mathew said that though the repatriation of expats is in dilemma, they need not be unnecessarily concerned about returning after the COVD lockdown. The capital of Middle East countries is the effort of Keralites. People will be able to return within 3-4 months, he said hopefully.
Joy Mathew spent about two hours in the book stall and returned after buying his favourite books. Mathrubhumi Book stall at Rajaji Road in Kozhikode opens every day from 10 am to 5 pm strictly following the government guidelines to resist COVID-19. Phone: 0495 2720998
